We at TestPrep-Online believe that a student who aims at a medical career can undertake the MCAT preparation journey independently. From the premed's point of view, the MCAT seems like a tough mountain to climb. However, in many respects excelling on the entrance exam to medical school is only the beginning of a long, steep climb that lasts for quite a few years. Therefore, committing to an independent MCAT prep journey is also the practice of perfection - an indispensible trait required of the future doctor.

Below you will find an MCAT study schedule designed by our experienced tutors and writers. The great advantage of such a schedule is that it serves as a frame which can change to accommodate your changing needs and time limitations. Designing a flexible schedule that is deliberately adaptable is an important step to an efficient MCAT prep journey.

Important remarks

  1. Read our MCAT study tips, to have a complete overview of the MCAT preparation journey.

  2. Download AAMC's topic list for each MCAT section. When we list a section in the daily study plan, it refers to topics from the list.

  3. Practice verbal reasoning passages every day.  The best way to beat this MCAT section is by familiarizing yourself with the language of academic level texts and analytical and critical reasoning thinking patterns (we recommend up to 30 minutes of practice a day).

  4. When reaching a point of exhaustion, share your feelings with fellow students. Forums and blogs are the best way to do this. Also, if you feel like you need a break that is longer than the Sunday day off routine, take it, but remember to compensate for the lost hours.

The following MCAT study schedule is an optional 10 week study plan. Below is a preview of the first two weeks of the MCAT study schedule.
