The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardized test administered four times a year (see LSAT Test Dates) by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). It is designed to assess the logical, verbal and analytical reasoning skills of undergraduate students who wish to study law.

All American Bar Association (ABA) approved law schools, most Canadian law schools,  and some law schools world-wide require applicants to take the LSAT as a part of their respective admissions process. The LSAT score is a crucial factor in the decision whether or not to accept an applicant to a law school.
