Léman International School – Chengdu

Léman International School – Chengdu is an international school located in Southwestern China. Founded in 2009, the establishment is the first of its kind in its region. It is also a member of the Nord Anglia Education, which consists of 56 quality international schools spread out across 27 countries and serving over 51,000 students.

This establishment uses MAP Growth testing for students in grades 3-8 to determine the appropriate level of instruction. The test is administered in its computerized form during the month of October.

Access International Academy Ningbo (AIAN)

Located in the Beilun District of Ningbo, China, Access International Academy Ningbo (AIAN) is an international school whose focus is to provide its students (Grades K-12) with a holistic American-based program. This academic establishment employs premiere, research-based methods of instruction.

To maintain an academic environment suitable for every student, the Academy utilizes MAP Testing during the month of April. All students, grades K-12, are required to take the examination.

The Shanghai American School (SAS)

The Shanghai American School (SAS) is a competitive academic establishment whose goal is to serve every student’s needs equally. The school has established itself through top methods of instruction, and a variety of art and athletic programs and clubs.

Due to its high standing as an academic institution, SAS is a competitive school. As part of its admission process, the school requires specific MAP scores.

Hangzhou International School (HIS)

Hangzhou International School (HIS) strives to provide students with a rigorous academic system that can help them both grow and challenge themselves. The school has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
(WASC). The school is also noted for its great range of facilities, all aiding the development of a varied skill set for each individual student.

At HIS, MAP testing in math, language usage, and reading is used for grades 2 through 10 as a way to help track scores and progress. The goal ultimately to provide the classroom with a lesson plan that is suited for everyone.

International School of Beijing

The International School of Beijing (ISB) is a co-ed non-profit school for students in pre-K3 through 12th grade. This school is a competitive one, offering rigorous and challenging courses. Students are encouraged to do their best and achieve the highest of their abilities.

The Korea Foreign School (KFS)

The Korea Foreign School (KFS) is a multi-cultural school, which serves students of over twenty countries. The academic establishment fosters academic and self-growth through a friendly and dedicated environment.

KFS administers the MAP Growth during the months of February, May, and September (a total of three times).

Korea International School, Jeju Campus (KISJ)

Korea International School, Jeju Campus (KISJ) is South Korea’s first boarding school. It is also the only international school in the country to accept applicants who do not have a foreign passport and/or have not studied abroad for more than three years.

As KISJ is a competitive institution, students are tested prior to enrollment. For enrollment into KISJ’s high school honors program, students must hold the correct grades, as well as a teacher’s recommendation. In addition, students are expected to achieve certain standardized testing scores, including the MAP.

The International School of Busan (ISB)

The International School of Busan (ISB) dedicates itself to aiding students of all backgrounds and skills in reaching their utmost potential. With quality programs and a dedicated faculty, ISB’s motto is “United in our Diversity, Thriving in our Individuality”.

International Christian School Uijeongbu

An international school located in the north of Seoul, The International Christian School Uijeongbu (ICSU) employs methods of academic instruction for its students based on both the religion of Christianity and the American Curriculum, including integration of the bible into all studies and the option of taking AP courses.
