My daughter used the NNAT practice tests. Her results after 4 weeks: 133; "very superior". The highest score ranking percentile she could get was a 99, she got a 98. We could not ask for more!

We got the NNAT practice pack. The test pack was easy to use and I wouldn't change anything about it. I would definitely recommend this product to other parents.

TestPrep-Online offers preparation materials for the OLSAT and NNAT. Our OLSAT and NNAT packs are comprehensive and will thoroughly prepare your child for a gifted and talented test. Start practicing today!

How to Prepare for the OLSAT & NNAT Tests

The OLSAT and NNAT tests are both used by schools throughout the country to determine which students will enter their gifted and talented programs. Both the OLSAT and the NNAT are comprised of questions which are not about the material your child learns at school. It is important to prepare for these tests, since your child will handle those questions much better after practice. TestPrep-Online offers a full practice pack for each test, including everything your child needs to know, practice questions about every topic that appears on the real test, and study guides. Access is gained immediately after purchase.

The OLSAT and the NNAT are similar; therefore, if your child is about to take one of them and needs extra practice, it is recommended to purchase this bundle pack. If, for instance, your child is about to take the NNAT test, make sure he or she practice all the questions on the NNAT pack, then move on to the OLSAT pack and practice all the types questions he or she found more challenging.

Keep a positive attitude. It is perfectly natural if your child cannot immediately answer every question correctly. Our website offers a fully-detailed explanation for every single question on our practice packs. For each question your child answers incorrectly, make sure to go through the explanation. As second-graders can usually read independently, try to have your child solve each question alone, then read the explanation, then turn to you for help if he or she has any inquiries. Remember, you will not be around during the real test; it is important to give your child support while practicing, but still simulate the real test so your child knows what is coming.

Encourage your child to do his or her best, but do not let them stress; make sure he or she still does fun activities from time to time, takes breaks, and gets enough sleep on those days they need to study. This will ensure he or she keeps a positive attitude toward the upcoming test.

Make up a study plan in advance, which will cover all types of questions, plus time for revisions of those questions your child found difficult. Try not to leave too much to the last two or three days before the test, so as not to be too stressed. Involve your child in the study plan, so he or she always knows what comes next. This will help to ensure your child sticks to the plan. Praise your child every time he or she works according to the plan and makes progress. Thus, your child will be more likely to complete the study plan and feel confident on the day of the test, knowing he or she has done everything to prepare. Remember, confidence and a positive attitude are both powerful tools for success!

On the days your child is studying, make sure he or she is well-nourished. Nutritious food is an important part of studying. Provide your child with vegetables, fruit, proteins, and complex carbohydrates. Try to avoid sweets. Your well-nourished child will be more likely to achieve a high score. It is also important to make sure your child gets enough sleep, especially on the night before the test, but also every day he or she needs to study. Sleep is an important factor in your child's energy and happiness levels. On the day of the test, make sure your child wakes up on time to have a nutritious breakfast and get to the test with time to spare. Good luck!
