About the MAP 9th-12th Grade Test

The Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) created the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Growth tests to evaluate students' academic progress from kindergarten to 12th grade based on Common Core standards. The MAP High school tests are adaptive and adjust to each student's skill level based on their responses.

The test helps students, parents, and teachers identify areas for improvement and creates optimal studying conditions for students.

The MAP tests students on four subjects: math, reading, language usage, and science, with no time limit. Each test contains between 40-43 questions and is given three times a year to track students' growth.
