What are Personalized Prep Sessions?
In addition to practice tests, answer explanations, and study guides, TestPrep-Online offers live video sessions with a trained educator to tailor your prep to the individual needs of your child. Our tutoring services offer a unique perspective into your child’s learning process and a personalized approach to unlock their potential.

Meet Ariav
Ariav Schlesinger is our resident educator and expert on test taking. He has been involved in education for over a decade, including years of experience training students one on one for academic growth tests such as the MAP and STAR, as well as cognitive ability tests such as the CAT4, iReady, and CogAT. Ariav has a master’s degree in education and has worked with students from age six through eighteen.
How to Get Started
The first step is to choose between our two tutoring options.
One Session Package
- This option includes a one-hour session where your child will receive personalized instruction on how to improve their score.
- The tutor will observe and guide your child while going through the test questions together. Analyzing their knowledge, approaches, and thought process in order to help them understand the material and improve in the way that comes most naturally to them.
Three Session Package
- With three one-hour sessions, your child may broaden their instruction to the different subjects of the test or seek a more encompassing and in-depth crash course on the relevant material for the subject of your choice.
- Begin with a diagnostic introductory lesson like the one described in the package above.
- The remaining two lessons can be used as equivalent diagnostic sessions for the other subjects on the test, or as further guidance and in-depth instruction on the material and skills they need for that same subject.
After choosing either of these packages, you will have the option to add more lessons as you see fit at a discounted price following the initial instruction.
Once you have purchased your prefered live session package, log into your account and you will be able to access it. You will need to answer a few questions on the introduction page of the pack. This will allow the instructor to properly prepare for your session.
You will also find a link that allows you to view the instructor’s available time slots and schedule your first session. If you cannot find a time slot that works for you, you may message the head instructor Ariav directly to work out other potential timeslots at this address: ask_ariav@testprep-online.com
You may use this address for any other questions you may have about the sessions. The instructor will contact you anyway to finalize your session time once booked.
