About the Elementary SCAT
The Elementary SCAT is used as a form of gifted identification for 2nd-3rd graders by a variety of prestigious programs, including those of the John Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth. The test consists of both language-based and mathematically based comparisons.

The SCAT Elementary PrepPack is designed for gifted students in grades 2-3 who are preparing for CTY eligibility. The SCAT (School and College Ability Test) Elementary level is specifically designed to identify academically talented elementary school students.
What makes our PrepPack exceptional is that it's calibrated to the appropriate challenge level for gifted young learners. The questions are two grade levels above the student's current grade—exactly matching the actual SCAT format used by CTY for admission decisions.
If your child is in a different grade level, we also offer SCAT Intermediate PrepPacks (for grades 4-5) and SCAT Advanced PrepPacks (for grades 6+) to ensure every student receives age-appropriate preparation for CTY admissions.
