My kids were happy with this product and I would not change anything about it. The site is user-friendly and we had an overall great experience.

I got the NYC G&T Level B tests. Overall it was great, because my child passed the test on the first attempt! The practice questions were indispensable. My child found the videos less engaging and they seemed to be geared toward a slower audience. The price was just right.

The test at school (NNAT) was easier than the questions on the website. I knew my answers were correct for all the questions except for two of them that I found somewhat confusing. I had a lot of fun doing the test!

I used the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test pack. The preparation pack was very helpful. It helped me understand the format and style of the WBST which we had never sat before. The explanations after every question were very helpful, as well as the timed tests. A great resource!

Highly Capable Program at Crystal Springs Elementary

The Northshore School District Highly Capable Program caters to gifted students who are identified through cognitive and academic tests. The HiCap program provides a more challenging curriculum and accelerated classes. At the elementary school level, Hi-Cap services are provided either in the regular classroom or in the context of a separate, self-contained classroom for gifted students. Here is how services are provided by grade level:

Holistic Services (Grades K-1) and In-Class Services (Grades 2-5): Services are provided in the regular classroom at the neighborhood school. Gifted students are taught using the technique of differentiated instruction, in which regular classroom material is presented in more depth. Differentiated instruction can take place in a whole class, small group, or one-on-one sett
Elementary Advanced Program (Grades 2-5): HiCap qualifying students learn with students of like ability and similar interests in special self-contained classrooms located at Bear Creek, Lockwood, Sunrise, and Woodmoor elementary schools.

Crystal Springs Highly Capable Program Screening Process

Screening for the Highly Capable Program at Crystal Springs Elementary School is based on a combination of a student's classroom record at his or her local school and one or a combination of the following tests: Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT), Iowa Assesments (ITBS), or the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking. Here are the Northshore School District's pathways to Highly Capable Program admission.

The NNAT is a cognitive test with questions presented through pictures and patterns. It is likely very different from the kinds of tests your child is used to in school. The ITBS is an achievement test, meaning it measures students' academic performance in various subject areas. At the elementary school level, students are tested in math and reading. The test is usually administered at one grade level above the student's current grade. The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking use open-ended questions about pictures and situations to measure creativity. Test Prep-Online has developed Practice Packs for the NNAT and ITBS.
