ACCUPLACER Math Sections
The ACCUPLACER Math sections include Arithmetic, Elementary Algebra, and College-Level Math. The Arithmetic section consists of 17 questions, the Elementary Algebra section consists of 12 questions, and the College-Level Math section consists of 20 questions.
Each section tests a variety of math skills. The Arithmetic section assesses your ability to solve problems with straightforward mathematical concepts and the basic mathematical operations.
The Elementary Algebra section assesses your ability to solve problems involving algebraic concepts. In addition, it tests your ability to perform basic algebraic operations, including integers and rational numbers, algebraic expressions, equations and inequalities, and verbal problems.
The College-Level Math section covers algebraic operations, equations and inequalities, geometry coordination, functions, trigonometry, and mathematical applications.
